（路透曼谷18日電）美國總統歐巴馬今天堅稱，以色列有權自衛，但也表示，「最好」能避免以色列地面部隊攻入加薩。

他說，能否說服以色列不攻入加薩，要看中東領袖能否成功阻止哈瑪斯集團（Hamas Group）向以色列發射火箭。歐巴馬在泰國訪問，在曼谷記者會上說：「世界上沒有國家能忍受，從境外發射飛彈，彈如雨下攻擊本國公民。我們完全支持，以色列有權自衛。」「我們等著看，未來24小時、36小時、48小時我們能夠有什麼樣的進展。」中央社（翻譯）
